Residents' Committee
The Residents' Committee is an advisory body through which the residents of Thassos take part in planning the tourism development of the island. It was set up on the basis of the Thassos Residents Study, carried out by the World Tourism Organization (UN Tourism) and ICF for the Municipality of Thassos. The Committee is coordinated by Panagiota Moschopoulidou, Tourism Development Advisor to the Mayor of Thassos and PhD candidate at the University of West Attica (UNIWA).
The Thassos Residents' Committee for Tourism consists of the following twelve (12) members:
