Thassos in Malmö, Sweden

On 4 and 5 February the Thassos Tourism Organisation was in Malmö, Sweden, represented by its President, Mr Ioannis Markianos, as part of the tourism promotion activities of the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace abroad. During this important initiative, they had the opportunity to hold talks with representatives of the tourism sector and leading travel agencies in Sweden, a representative of Expedia, one of the largest international online travel platforms, as well as political figures. The main aim of the meetings and presentations was to promote the Region and Thassos as an ideal travel destination. Thassos makes a strong impression, showcasing its wonderful beaches and its gastronomic products. From the crystal-clear sea to traditional villages, it is a destination that has it all.

Once again, the excellent cooperation with the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, its officials and the Deputy Regional Governor for Tourism, Mr Archontis, was confirmed.
