Dynamic presence of the Municipality of Thassos in Serbia: positive signals from the Serbian market
As part of its strategy to promote the island as a leading tourist destination, the Municipality of Thassos took a dynamic part in the Sajam Turizma 2025 tourism fair, which was held in Belgrade from 20 to 23 February 2025, alongside the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace.
A significant milestone of the presence of Thassos in Serbia was the presentation event for the island, which took place on Friday 21 February 2025 at the Ambassador's Residence. The event was attended by distinguished tourism professionals and media representatives, confirming the strong interest of the Serbian market in Thassos.
The event was held with the valuable support of the Ambassador of Greece to Serbia, Ms Maria Levanti, and the Head of the GNTO Office in Belgrade, Mr Georgios Kakoutis.
The Municipality of Thassos remains firmly committed to strengthening the international presence of the island and undertakes to continue its outreach activities, contributing to the further development of its tourism product.
