Successful completion of a familiarisation trip (Fam Trip) to Thassos with the participation of influencers, content creators and distinguished journalists from Greece

The Thassos Tourism Organisation has successfully completed a three-day familiarisation trip (Fam Trip), held from Friday 22 to Sunday 24 May 2026, with the participation of selected influencers, digital content creators and distinguished journalists.

The aim of this first domestic press trip was to promote and showcase Thassos through modern digital communication media, harnessing the power of social networks and the wide reach of the participants among the travelling public.

During their stay on the island, the guests had the opportunity to experience the beauty of Thassos at first hand and to tour some of the island's most impressive beaches. They also discovered the natural wealth of Thassos and the unique hospitality of its residents.

Particular emphasis was placed on the gastronomic identity of the destination, with the participants sampling local flavours, traditional products and recipes that highlight the authentic character of the island and the high quality of local produce.

The content created during the trip and published on the participants' social media is expected to provide significant exposure for Thassos, reaching thousands of potential visitors and further enhancing the destination's recognition in target markets.

The Thassos Tourism Organisation continues to invest in outreach actions and modern tourism promotion practices, with the aim of strengthening the island's tourism image, attracting new visitors and showcasing the unique experiences that Thassos offers all year round.
